Contributors were mentored by some of Canada's most notable authors, editors and illustrators: Phoebe Gilman, Maryann Kovalski, Ian Wallace, Brenda Clark, Ruth Ohi, Laura Walker, and Peter Carver.

    "A Fishy Story" is the tale of two boys who try their luck fishing in a toilet bowl. In "ZZZZZZ", Calamine and Ralph Frider, after a long day at the beach, fall into a deep sleep that causes great alarm. In "BUT", when the gates of a train refuse to let Bobby pass to get to work on time, he tries to sign his way out of the mess. In "Unlucky Charm", two girls discover that their new bracelets are jinxed.
