    Creator

    Snow, Gordon

    Abstract

Safe and Sound has two purposes: to help people avoid getting lost in the woods in the first place and to enable those who are lost to emerge unscathed. The book tells what to take in a ready pack and why, how to read a map and compass, how hunters can separate yet keep in touch, and how not to be disabled by a change in the weather or a minor accident. It also tells how to remain safe and sound until help arrives.

    Creator

    Stark, Chris

    Abstract

Searches for information about residential schools for the blind in Canada are barren and missing from search results. Yes, there are lots of results for residential school experiences of other groups of Canadian children but once again people who are blind have been ignored... the lack of information about the experiences of blind children in a residential school setting is the motivation for making my research public. . Originally I conducted this research as a way of understanding the origins of my educational experiences as a child.
