Abstract
As Jasmine and her husband thank God for delivering their daughter from certain death, tragic news arrives. Yellow fever has decimated Jasmine's Mississippi family. And now the Houstons must leave their Massachusetts horse farm to face the challenges of Willows Plantation. But soon their desire to free the plantation's slaves kindles a strife that threatens both their resolve and their safety.
